IN-PERSON STORYTELLING WORKSHOP
A one day creative photography workshop with Taylor Burk
ARE YOU READY TO CONNECT WITH YOUR CREATIVITY AND SHOOT WITH INTENTION AGAIN?
HAVE YOU LOST THAT SPARK WHEN YOU PICK UP YOUR CAMERA?
LOOKING FOR INSPIRATION BEYOND ONLINE TUTORIALS?
LOOK NO FURTHER.
Why am I doing this?
The answer is simple, because I love creating and bringing people into experiences I would be stoked to join myself! I remember feeling lost with photography and wishing I had access to something like this. A place where I could find guidance, have insightful conversations, and learn from real-world experience.
There’s only so much you can learn from YouTube, social media, and books. For many, including myself, growth accelerates when you’re learning in person, exchanging ideas, and receiving face-to-face feedback. I’ve always been an advocate for cultivating community and bringing online interactions into the real world. That kind of human connection matters to me and hopefully you resonate with that as well!
My goal with this one-day, small-group, creative workshop is to help you reconnect with your photography, find inspiration in the everyday, and tell more meaningful stories through your images from my personal experience in the industry.
It doesn’t matter if you shoot on a camera or with your phone, this workshop is about learning to see differently by building narrative, developing intention, and creating images that resonate emotionally. Whether you’re looking to attract new clients, strengthen your portfolio, or simply make work you’re proud of, this experience is designed for all skill levels.

I am a professional photographer and creator based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. My work lives at the intersection of creative media and outdoor adventure, driven by a passion for storytelling and capturing the essence of wild places. With over a decade of experience, I’ve built a reputation as one of Canada’s leading adventure travel photographers.
Years spent working in remote and challenging environments have shaped not just how I work, but what I value in a story. I focus on creating imagery that is visually compelling, ethically grounded, and deeply respectful; ensuring that the people, wildlife, and landscapes I work with are represented with care and cultural awareness.
With an international audience of over 365,000 followers, I have a proven track record of partnering with brands, advertising agencies, and tourism boards worldwide to create engaging, commercial-quality content, and amplifying the reach of these campaigns through my social networks
Trusted by leading brands and organizations such as: Parks Canada · The North Face · Google Pixel · Fairmont Hotels & Resorts · Destination Canada · Chevrolet Canada · Samsung · Olympus · Peak Design · WestJet · Best Buy Canada · Capture One · Men’s Journal · Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada & many more… -
I love creating and bringing people into experiences I would be stoked to join myself.
I love teaching and most importantly connecting with others. The first time someone told me how much of an impact my teachings had on them and their work, it sealed the deal. Few things are more rewarding, and that feeling is exactly why I continue to do this.
See differently.
Create intentionally.
Tell better stories.
