Join West Coast photographer Taylor Burk for a one-day, small group, immersive creative workshop designed to help you reconnect with your photography, find inspiration in the everyday, and tell more meaningful stories through your images.

Whether you shoot on a camera or your phone, this workshop is about seeing differently, building narrative, and creating images that resonate emotionally. Wether it’s to attract new clients, build your portfolio or just to impress your friends this is catered to all skill levels.

  • Taylor is a Vancouver Island–based photographer with over a decade of experience, specializing in storytelling, lifestyle, nature and adventure imagery. His work has been featured by the likes of National Geographic, Global Tourism Boards, Google and he is passionate about leading immersive experiences designed to push creativity, presence, and perspective.

Frequently asked questions

  • The majority of the workshop is indoors with presentations, discussions, and exercises. We may include short creative exercises outdoors if the weather allows, but you’ll spend most of your day in a comfortable, focused environment.

  • Each city is a one-time workshop in this manner. If you miss a date, you’ll have to wait for the next offering which may not happen for a few years.

  • Each city is limited to 15 participants to ensure an intimate, personal experience. Spaces fill quickly, so early registration is recommended.

  • Just yourself, your camera or phone, and a notebook or laptop for writing down notes.

  • We’l have a lunch break where food is provided as well as light refreshments and coffee.

  • Yes! There will be an optional image critique where we can have a group discussion session to help refine your eye for story and composition.
